The state government under Mukhyamantri Bal Sewa Scheme has announced to provide the following benefits:
1- Financial support of Rs. 4,000/month for care of children orphaned due to Covid or who have lost one of the parents.
2- Rs. 1,01,000 will be given for the marriage of a girl child orphaned due to Covid.
3- A laptop or tablet would be given to orphaned children in school, college or pursuing vocational education.
4- Boys below the age of 10 who have no guardians or an extended family will be rehabilitated at Rajkiya Bal Grihas or Child Shelter Homes.
5- For minor girls without guardians, the government will arrange their stay at central government run Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas or Atal Residential Schools currently being set up by the state government.

Cost of Remdesivir injections for scheduled tribe patients receiving care in private hospitals will be covered by the government.
Eligibility
1. Income should be less than Rs.8 lakh
2. Hospitals should not be empanelled with Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana.
3. Schedule tribes/BPL/Widow/ disabled/ deserted women will be given preference.
4. The cost of Remdesivir injections for scheduled tribe patients receiving care in private hospitals will be covered under the Tribal Development Department's nucleus budget program, according to a resolution circulated by the Maharashtra government on April 20.

All registered BOCW workers, domestic workers, rickshaw drivers, and street vendors will receive financial assistance of Rs.1500 directly into their bank accounts (DBT).
The benefits are transferred to only those workers whose application verification process has been completed and issued with ID cards before 31st March.

Beneficiaries of Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Pension, Shravan Bal Pension, Indira Gandhi National Old Age/Widow/Disability Pension schemes will receive financial assistance of Rs. 1000 each for two months.

Free vaccinations for 18+ starting from 1st May

Government will bear the entire expenses of the education of children who have lost their parents due to corona during this financial year.
Also, a scholarship of Rs 500 per month will be given to such children studying in first to eighth and Rs 1000 per month for children from standard 9th to 12th. These children will be eligible for this scholarship while studying in any government or private school.

Mukhya Mantri Seva Sankalp Helpline- 1100: The state government has dedicated "Chief Minister Seva Sankalp Helpline-1100" exclusively for the convenience of the common people for the diagnosis of the topics and problems related to Covid- 19 and curfew. Toll free number 1100 from 7 am to 10 pm will be working and providing necessary help regarding Covid-19 tests, vaccination, home quarantine, medicines, ambulance and oxygen etc.

State Government to provide incentive of Rs 2000 per month to sanitary workers of ULBs: All the sanitary workers working in the Urban Local Bodies including Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils, Nagar Parishads and Nagar Panchayats would be provided an incentive of Rs 2000 per month for the month of April, May and June, 2021, keeping in view the vital services they are rendering in maintaining proper hygiene and sanitation in the urban areas.

The government has announced to provide admission to children who are orphaned due to Covid-19 in Central Schools, Navodaya Vidyalaya and Sainik Schools etc. and the expenses would be borne by the Government.

Government has announced a special package for the protection of children who lost their parents due to Covid pandemic. An amount of Rs.3 lakh will be given in lump sum. A monthly assistance of Rs. 2000 each will be provided till the age of 18 and the educational expense till graduate level will be borne by the government.

Through Kerala State Financial Enterprises (KSFE), the government has formulated a scheme for providing 2 lakh laptops to school children for online education.

Tamil Nadu CM has also announced incentives for doctors, nurses, sanitary workers, lab workers, ambulance drivers and others involved in the battle against COVID-19. As per his announcement, doctors, nurses, trained and qualified health workers and other medical staff would receive an incentive of ₹30,000, ₹20,000, ₹15,000 and ₹10,000 respectively for these three months. Additionally, Rs 20,000 will also be given as incentives to PG students (house surgeons) and trainee doctors to motivate them. Further, the Chief Minister also announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakh each to the kin of the 43 doctors who lost their lives fighting COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu.

private hospitals

Tamil Nadu government announced Rs.5 lakh aid to children orphaned by COVID-19. The state government will also bear all the expenses towards their education till graduation. The amount of Rs.5 lakh along with interest will be given to the child upon attaining the age of 18 years. Similarly, Rs 5 lakh will be deposited in the name of children who have lost one of their parents due to COVID-19.
The government would bear all other expenses of the children, including accommodation, up to their graduation. This apart, Rs 3 lakh will be provided as immediate relief to the guardian/ parent of the children who lost their father/mother due to COVID-19. A monthly allowance of Rs 3,000 will be provided towards the care of children growing up with the support of a relative or guardian, till they reach 18 years of age.

Karnataka government announced Mukhyamathri Bala Seva Yojana for taking care of Children orphaned by covid 19.
a) Financial support of Rs 3500/per month would be given to children, aged below 10 years, who have lost their parents/single parent/adopted person/ the family breadwinner owing to covid 19.
b) In case there are no caretakers/guardians for children aged less than 10 years, such kids would be taken care of by registered child care Institutions. These childrens would be provided admission in residential schools such as Kasturba Balika Vidyalaya, Morarji Desai and Kittor Rani Channamma.
c) Children who have class 10th will be given laptops for free, for higher/vocational education and skill development.
d) For girls aged 21 years, the government would provide 1 lakh for higher education, self employment and marriage expenses.

Supply of 25 kg rice every month free to the private school teachers and other staff till schools re open

Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 2,500 per month is ensured to children who lost their parents/caretakers (due to COVID-19) till the age of 18 years. Apart from this, the government has announced to provide Rs 12,000 (per year) for other expenses, to open recurring deposit accounts for the children who will stay at Bal Seva Sansthan and deposit Rs 1,500 into their accounts till the age of 18 years.

The state government has announced financial assistance of Rs 5,000 per day for below the poverty line (BPL) patients admitted in private hospitals who are on oxygen support or in intensive care units (ICU). Financial assistance will be given for a maximum of seven days. Also, a lump sum amount of Rs 5,000 medical assistance for BPL patients in home isolation is announced.

Under Bal Sahayata Yojana, children who lost both their parents or one of the parents due to COVID-19, the state government has announced to give Rs 1500 per month till the age of 18. The children, who don’t have guardians or any other family members to look after them, will be looked after in the children’s home. Such children will be enrolled in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential School on priority.
